About installation:

This lock is suitable for door thicknesses of 35-55mm.

Please measure the size of your antique mortise lock and check out our different mortise lock size options for your door. This would be an easier replacement.

How to choose the correct mortise lock size: We have over 24 different spring lock sizes, so measure your old lock size against this picture, and you'll know which size fits your door. (Once you choose the correct size, you will easily replace the old lock)
